I'm Just an Informer. We underestimate how easily people see through the 'front' that we try to put up - we can fool ourselves but it's harder to fool those around us. Despite the masks we put on we can't escape from our true selves. Musically it reminds me of Lou Reed during his Transformer period—a pop-rock version of Americana. The arrangement has that classic old-world lineup of drums bass, acoustic rhythm and electric guitar. It's the only song on the album with a lead guitar break on it.
