Admit one, love one, song Sunstroke, it bites through my case, for the slowdown promise’s I made. I was coming on, fine with you gone My admit one, love one, song My feeling, matched what you say. Confirming a past gone astray. I was coming on, now fine with your song My admit one, love one, gone I sleep, for the days When I can hope, for a melody, hope for the chance/a time to play I need, harmony, for this Admit one, love one, song Can these spirits, now dance to my time To the slowdown, this promise of decline I was getting on, fine to be wrong, about my Admit one love one song I sleep, for the days When I can hope, for a melody, hope for a chance to play I need, harmony, for this Admit one, love one, song My admit one, love one, song Has my admit one, love one, gone?

about

The story is: former punk, garage rock guitarist, and since 2008, Americana/folk artist - collaborates with fictitious retro synth pop band, The Fancy That's. What we have here is old-fashioned synth pop - with spoken lyrics.

The music for 'Admit One, Love One, Song' is light - made on a computer by someone with very clean hands and a pack of alchohol wipes. There are a limited number of musical layers and you can hear them all. You can dance to it and it's got hooks.

The music of 'Holy F**k, Here Come All the Pricks' is claustrophobic. The words are sweary, angry, and often percussive - the sentiments are born of personal politics. Words are cut up in a nod to a time when sampling was new - though there are no samples - all of the spoken words are from unedited live 'takes'. 13 year olds will like this, they will confer with their friend about it - and hide it from their parents. They know it's not for them and it appeals because it has swear words in it. And the word pricks is irresistible.
