My collaboration with Scottish storyteller Lesley O'Brien—is a song steeped in the rich traditions of old-time country music. With its jaunty rhythm and a melody that feels like it's been passed down through the ages. It reminded folk singer Tom Fairnie of 'The Stanley Brothers at thirty-three and a third'. However, what sets it apart are the enchanting Scottish spirits that weave through the story, adding a touch of otherworldly magic to the familiar sounds of the past. Kurt Baumer adds a superb fiddle throughout.
