The original version of this song was free to download on the condition that 'purchaser' donated to the 'Food from the wood' project.

Along with many others we helped raised £6,777 for the project. :-) The crowdfunder is now closed. If you would like to download the song - pay what you want.

Here's some information about the project:

"The G20 young people have developed an amazing project, 'Food from the Wood', which is a type of meals on wheels initiative, where we are supporting the most vulnerable people in the community due to the COVID-19 crisis."

About this song
It is an 80s sounding song I 'accidentally' wrote (I usually write in the folk and Americana genre). When I realised it was quite poppy and 'dancy' I asked my friends to send me videos of them dancing to it - so we could all have a bit of fun while stuck at home during the COVID-19 lockdown.

And if you 'up for it', I challenge you to create your own dance video, i.e. dancing to 'Do You Remember Marseille?'. Why not get your friends involved? Become part of our, 'lockdown frivolous fun' project - and release some of your lockdown tension. You can make a video on your phone - it doesn't need to be professional quality, choreographed, extravaganza. Although of course, if you have the skills, equipment and time that's also good.
